Sunshine Montessori
Sunshine Montessori is a Montessori preschool that is based on the educational philosophy and teaching of Dr. Maria Montessori. We believe that each child is unique with different social, personal and educational needs. We provide a safe and nurturing environment where children feel valued, respected, supported and provided independence to work at their own pace and interest guided by the teacher. Our classrooms are warm, welcoming and attractive to the children with thoughtfully chosen work materials and activities to develop their cognitive, social, emotional, physical motor and language skills.

Why Sunshine Montessori?
We recognize that children learn in different ways and therefore we accommodate all learning styles. Students are free to learn at their own pace, each advancing as they are ready, guided by the teacher. We believe in promoting independence and encourage empathy, a passion for social justice, and a joy in lifelong learning.
Our students are confident, enthusiastic and self directed learners who think critically and work collaboratively.

Arshiya Kiran

Arshiya is the owner and director of Sunshine Montessori. She started Sunshine Montessori to share Montessori education with children and develop independence and confidence among them at an early age.
She was introduced to Montessori philosophy when she became a Mom and sent her son to a Montessori school. She was impressed by the Montessori philosophy and decided to undergo a career change and get her Montessori certification from Northeast Montessori Institute.
